Happy New Year

rsz_color_profile_pic2017 is finally here, I’m out with the old and in with the new.  New Year’s Day is a day for reflection. I think about what I can do better in 2017 that I didn’t do in 2016. I think about what to let go of that is toxic in my life. Letting go of all bad relationships is something I have already done. If you can’t see yourself building a solid foundation that is unbreakable because the two of you is not on the same accord growing together as one spiritually by the grace of God, then let that person go. A Godly man knows his wife when he meets her. If your relationship is not growing, then let it go. Life is too short to be miserable.

My second resolution I want to focus on in 2017 that I’ve been praying to God about is being more persistent and staying focus on finishing all writing projects that I’ve been working on for the last two years. My book is almost finish and I still have fifty more pages left on my screenplay. The life of a writer is hard especially when you must work a full-time job and finding the time to write makes writing even harder. To all my struggling artist, entrepreneur’s, visionaries, and dreamer’s find time to work on your craft and make that dream of yours’s come to life, even if you must take baby steps to get it off the ground, starting it will eventually bring it to life.

My third resolution I want to focus on this year is building my brand, upgrading and expanding all my social networks, finally joining (WGAE) once I’ve launch both of my projects this year. I pray that God will grant me the right team of people who understands my vision, who can market and promote my work by getting it out there to the right audience, agents, producers, and networks. With a strong team behind me failure is not an option. I want to learn how to interact more with my followers on social media because I can be a bit reserved.

My fourth resolution is to continue being better today than I was yesterday. I want to use everything I’ve learned over the last forty years of my life to create something beautiful, something meaningful, something that pulls at your heart-strings. I want my creativity to have no boundaries. I want to write the stories that has never been written, I want all my stories to stand the test of time. Every day I want to work on perfecting my craft as a writer.

The Feeling of not Belonging

Loneliness is one of the greatest problems that people face. Into our loneliness and the feeling of not belonging, the Bible says, God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”(John 3:16). We can be in a crowd, we can be at a party, and we can all of a sudden feel lonely. Do you know what that is? That is loneliness for God. We were made in the image of God, made for fellowship with God.

When we are away from God when we are sinning against God, and we have broken God’s laws, and we have disobeyed Him. He still wants to put His arms around us and say,” I Love You.” From the cross God is saying to us, “I Love You.”

Almighty God, who is from everlasting to everlasting, the Creator of the whole universe, loves you and is interested in you as if you were the only person who ever lived. God says, “ I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3, NKJV).

_Billy Graham

“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine…. And I love you.”_Isaiah 43:1

Somewhere Over the Rainbow/ It’s A Wonderful World

There is much going on in this world today. The news broadcast murders, thefts, bullying, betrayal, you name it, and it’s there. This world we live in is beautiful. This world is not corrupt; it’s the people in the world that makes this world evil. This world could be a better place if people stop blaming each other for their own mistakes and misfortunes. Change can only start by you. When was the last time you did something nice for a neighbor, a friend, or your siblings? When was the last time you visited your parents, or your grandparents because you wanted to?
Happiness start within you, don’t look for other to make you happy, or to make your life complete. I hate to tell you; but if you’re searching for happiness and fulfillment in others just to make your life complete, you’re in for a rude awakening.
When your happy within yourself, it shows, people can see it. The day you stop blaming others for your unhappiness, is the day you start living your life.

How to End Poverty in Amercia

Unity is the secret to ending poverty.

Church isn’t just an organization for Christians to gather, to worship,  among themselves.  Church should mainly be for the lost souls who don’t know God, especially for those who are searching, and trying to fill a void that is not refillable unless it’s filled with God’s love, anointing, and his mercy. Many young people refuse to go to church because they are not welcome with open arms. A lot of times they are judge and ridicule by the pastor, or by a member in the church, so they resent going back.

Church is a place for everybody to come and worship no matter who you are, and what you wear, or what you do. Jesus judges your heart and not your outer appearance (1 Samuel 16:7). Come one, come all and learn the word of God, and his goodness, and know that he loves you regardless of your past sins.

If every church in each county of every state joins together in rebuilding their run down communities, soup kitchens, and homeless shelters within their counties, this will help win the war on poverty in America.  It’s the church job to feed the hungry, to house the homeless, to pray for those who are sick, and to preach to those who don’t know God. Together, men, women, your community, the churches, along with the state and government can win this war on poverty, if all of us pull together as one. Poverty will soon end by rebuilding one community at a time.

Famous Celebrities Who’ve Committed Suicide

Depression The Silent Killer

We have lost many celebrities and people to suicide throughout the years. Your life is more valuable than any materialistic thing on this earth. In life, as humans we all will go through some type of dark periods throughout our life and this is normal. Life’s struggles will only make you stronger and it will prepare you for the next obstacle course you will one day face in your life. No matter what you’re going through in life, just remember it will not last. You might be hurting now, just know that in due time your pain will end. You might be dealing with depression and don’t know what to do, my advice to you is to please talk to someone, and get help for what you’re going through.
Some may feel like it’s a sign of weakness because they cannot control their depression, and it’s not. I’ve dealt with depression many years ago, and I healed my depression through prayer, meditation, and a determination to live. Depression is awful; it’s a silent killer because we will not talk about it. I don’t care how educated you are, how famous you are, how fit and beautiful you are, depression can strike at any time, it can take over your life and turn it upside down, if you let it.
If you’re dealing with depression talk to some one you trust, let them know what you’re going through because you will need their support instead of facing your demons alone. Secondly, get professional help for your mental illness because it can more severe than others, it just depends on the person. Third, cry, there is nothing wrong with pouring out your heart to a friend, a therapist, or even just to God especially when you’re alone in your quiet space. Fourth, take full control of your depression; never let your depression take full control over you. Lastly, always remember, whatever you go through in life, you’re not alone, somebody else is going through the same struggles you’re facing now as I speak. Your not alone, give yourself a chance at life, I know the pain is sometimes so overbearing that you don’t want to live you can’t bear it, I know, I’ve been in your situation. I had to press on, I had to face my problems head on every day, but know this, one day the pain will end, you will smile again, and you will laugh again. This is your life; so take control of your own life.

Love is the cure to all that’s evil.
Love is the cure to all envy,
Love is the cure to all hatred.
Forgiveness is the cure to living.

_Colishia S. Benjamin

My Name Is God

Please read this to the end. My name is God. You hardly have time for me. I love you, and I will always bless you. I am always with you. I need you to spend 30 minutes of your time with me today, don’t pray, just praise. Today I want this message  to go across the world before midnight. Will you help? Please do not cut it and I’ll help you with something that you are in need of. Just dare Me! A blessing is coming your way. Please drop everything & pass this on. Tomorrow will be the Best Day of your life. Tweet this within ten minutes. Why do we feel sleepy in Prayer; but stay awake through a 3 hour movie? Why are we so bored when we read the Bible; but find it easy to read other books? Why is it so easy to ignore a message about God, yet we forward the nasty ones? Why are prayers getting smaller; but bars and clubs are expanding? Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity; but very difficult to engage with God? Don’t think just tweet this!!!!

Your Destiny

The world is full of  people from diverse cultures, and ethnic groups.  Each of us has a story to tell. Some stories will be more doleful than others, but many stories will sound almost alike. It’s funny how we all can relate to someone else’s struggles, heartache, and pain. Life isn’t always fair; we have to play the cards that is given to us. In life players will win, players will lose, but life is what we make it. No matter what happens in life you’re the key player to your very own destiny.
