Happy New Year

rsz_color_profile_pic2017 is finally here, I’m out with the old and in with the new.  New Year’s Day is a day for reflection. I think about what I can do better in 2017 that I didn’t do in 2016. I think about what to let go of that is toxic in my life. Letting go of all bad relationships is something I have already done. If you can’t see yourself building a solid foundation that is unbreakable because the two of you is not on the same accord growing together as one spiritually by the grace of God, then let that person go. A Godly man knows his wife when he meets her. If your relationship is not growing, then let it go. Life is too short to be miserable.

My second resolution I want to focus on in 2017 that I’ve been praying to God about is being more persistent and staying focus on finishing all writing projects that I’ve been working on for the last two years. My book is almost finish and I still have fifty more pages left on my screenplay. The life of a writer is hard especially when you must work a full-time job and finding the time to write makes writing even harder. To all my struggling artist, entrepreneur’s, visionaries, and dreamer’s find time to work on your craft and make that dream of yours’s come to life, even if you must take baby steps to get it off the ground, starting it will eventually bring it to life.

My third resolution I want to focus on this year is building my brand, upgrading and expanding all my social networks, finally joining (WGAE) once I’ve launch both of my projects this year. I pray that God will grant me the right team of people who understands my vision, who can market and promote my work by getting it out there to the right audience, agents, producers, and networks. With a strong team behind me failure is not an option. I want to learn how to interact more with my followers on social media because I can be a bit reserved.

My fourth resolution is to continue being better today than I was yesterday. I want to use everything I’ve learned over the last forty years of my life to create something beautiful, something meaningful, something that pulls at your heart-strings. I want my creativity to have no boundaries. I want to write the stories that has never been written, I want all my stories to stand the test of time. Every day I want to work on perfecting my craft as a writer.
